Lebec, CA - Sat, 30 Mar 2019, 9am

We got underway with our road trip last night at 6:30pm, earlier than I expected. The 280-some mile drive took 6 hours including Friday night traffic slowdowns and stops for dinner and gas. We arrived in our hotel room around 12:30am.

This evening we're loading up the car and heading south for the weekend. Tonight we'll drive as far as the small mountain town of Lebec, in The Grapevine north of Los Angeles. With a stop for dinner and slowdowns for traffic along the way we'll likely get in after midnight ( Read more... )

After spending just 21 hours at home between trips I left town again, this time on a road trip with Hawk. We're driving to Los Angeles for the weekend.
